Maia Anthea Marinelli’s Wind Playground

Maia Anthea Marinelli’s Wind Playground is an interactive kinetic sculpture that allows people to play with and understandwindin a creative way. Based on the fundamentals of the Venturi effect, Wind Playground funnels wind into a maze of tunnels, accelerating the wind and creating wind-microcosms. While the installation interacts with local wind patterns, visitors can walk through the sculpture, playing and sliding on the textured sail material that surrounds them, experiencing the thrill of being blown away by the wind.
