The Graveyard is an installation made of 100 hand-crocheted white lilies.
In war, death is considered an act of glory, almost a sacred sacrifice. Commonly, this sacrifice is celebrated with war cemeteries where rows of white crosses are arranged geometrically in the landscape. Instead of white crosses my graveyard uses lilies. Graveyard is a space for meditation and silence. Massive death becomes an open field of flowers; each flower is richly crafted and represents the preciousness of life
